Mrs. Diane M. Rodriguez has been teaching elementary school music for 29 years. She has had notable success developing young voices and award winning children's choruses, and nurturing early musical development. Her elementary school choruses have performed on stage with Judy Collins and Lorrie Morgan, and for President Bill Clinton, and have consistently earned Gold (Superior) and Silver (Excellent) Medal rankings at Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association choral festivals.  

Mrs. Rodriguez holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Springfield College, and a Master of Music Education with Kodaly Emphasis from The Hartt School, University of Hartford. She resides in the town of East Longmeadow with her husband of 41 years, Jorge, and their two dogs, Preston and Arnie.

Mrs. Rodriguez is the mother of two grown children. Jennifer is a pediatrician, and she and her husband have two beautiful children. A graduate of Mount Holyoke College and Weill Cornell University School of Medicine, Jennifer plays flute and piano and sings. George, is a Williams College graduate and an All-American Track and Field athlete. He is a National Field Trainer with a major pharmaceutical company. He plays trumpet and sings. He and his wife have two beautiful children.

Mrs. Rodriguez's grandchildren, Maya, Bennett, Cali, and Christian, enjoy singing, dancing, and making music with "Mammie"!
